We stayed with Rare Homes a few months ago. We rented one of their apartments in Downtown for a whole month. I must say that everything went smoothly and we were pretty much satisfied with the place. The only downsides to the apartment was that there was no washing liquid or pods, so coming with a baby during the night and still not knowing how Dubai super market delivery works, it was very hard and stressful. I am giving the company 1 star because of the way they are handling the return of our deposit. It has been a few months now and we still did not get our 1000 AED deposit back. They claim they have sent it with Western Union, but when we go to pick it up, it is not there. The customer service seem to have wiped their hands clean of the situation and are not even replying back to the emails, even though its unresolved. We have contacted someone in Dubai to continue dealing with this situation and we are extremely disappointed that this company would do this and leave a sour taste after such a good experience.
I couldn’t warn you to stay away from this company enough. Not only does the ‘owner’ feel the need to fire back at every comment where people are rightfully upset this company truly does suck. The only time they are ever responsive is when they are trying to get money from you but rest assured, when it’s time to get back your deposit or excess rent money, you will beg for weeks despite their contract saying they refund you within one month of moving out. They don’t answer their phones and lie so much about maintenance teams still needing to do inspections and the landlord constantly being ‘on holiday’. Super unethical company, avoid them.
I waited 17 months to share my experience with Rare Homes Real Estate. I'm living in Damac Hills and from the first months i had issues with the AC cooling system. As per building rules, everything related to an apartment, the real estate agency is responsible. From the first maintenance they provided, the issue was a leakage within the AC pipeline. Their best solution was refilling the AC gas. Every month i had to call them because the leakage is still there and their only solution is refilling. This story is still going on...from Apr 2021. I'm keep on calling them every month and they are keep on refilling. Sounds ridiculous but this is the true. Maybe it's time to go through legal channel because this is not acceptable anymore, especially when (last update of this week), again...after 17 months of refilling, their management is asking me pictures about the windows because as per them the issue could be the large window and the sun...really?!?! The AC cooling system is not working properly because a leakage within pipiline and the issue could be the sun and the large window?!?!? What about all the adjacent apartment where AC is working??!?! After this i really wanna talk with the manager/superior or whoever has this brilliant IQ.
Their customer service is WORST, they don't have sense of urgency. I have to call them million times to get the job done. They don't care about their client, it so frustrating that my leakage took 2 months and not fix until now-the place is over flowing, I have to change rugs every 30min. Their lady named Alicia is no help at all. Its so frustrating and thus she have the guts to raise her voice. Very bad customer service. I wonder why shes even sitting there if she cant stand frustration of the customer caused by their bad service.
We have stay in an apartment for 2 consecutive years as tenant with good conduct,Never delayed payment.Upon completion of contract, We handover the apartment with good and nice condition ever better than it was handover to us 2 years ago and claim for the security deposit (AED-2000)but we are being ignored deliberately by making lame excuses in the name of re-inspection, evaluation of the repairs etc. I would prefer to rate them in negative if there is option.
